Welcome!

The Community School for the Arts offers classes and performance opportunities to support aspiring musicians and local programs in the Moorhead-Fargo-West Fargo metropolitan area.

We offer many opportunities for students who play

string instruments,

wind instruments,

piano, and for singers!

The CSA Winter 2023-2024 Session for the String Orchestra Classes and Chamber Orchestra begins on Sunday, December 3

​

Classes take place on Sundays

December 3-February 18

Excluded Dates: December 24 and 31

​

Classes:

Level I: 1:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. 

Level II: 1:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Level III: 1:35 p.m. - 2:05 p.m.

Level IV: 1:35 p.m. - 2:05 p.m.

Level V: 1:35 p.m. - 2:05 p.m. 

Level VI: 2:15 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.

Chamber Orchestra: 2:15 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

(Duet/Trio- 15 min within Chamber Orchestra)

The CSA Winter 2023-2024 Session for the Wind Ensemble begins on Thursday, December 7. Students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades may enroll in the Wind Ensemble.

​

Classes take place on Thursdays December 7, 2023-February 22, 2024.

​

Rehearsals take place 4:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

​

Excluded dates: December 28 and January 4

​

*Private Lessons begin January 16 and are scheduled with instructor.

Classes are held at

Minnesota State University Moorhead.

 

Classes take place in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts. We rehearse in three rooms:

the Band Rehearsal Room, the Choir Rehearsal Room, and a classroom (144).

​

Please park in the parking lot east of the building.

​
