The CSA offers a variety of orchestra classes that are tailored to students' abilities and experiences. Our professional music teachers have developed a unique, graduated curriculum that combines the best of many different teaching methods, including Suzuki. Our Orchestra Class Levels

Students who have not played their instrument before.

Students who have the ability to read and play note values, know the aspects of a scale, and can play along with peers.

Students have advanced skills and knowledge of bowings, rhythms, and ear training.

Students who maintain the basic functions of playing with their peers and can fully read music. Students will learn how to follow a conductor.

Beginning ages vary with instrument.

Students who know the basic functions of posture and bowing as well as their fingerings and notes.

Students can slur, play intervals, and have comprehension of dynamics.

For students who are familiar with major and minor scales and who can play in half position.

Duets and Trios

Students possess an advanced level of playing with peers with highly trained ear.

Chamber Ensembles are optional for students who are enrolled in the Chamber Orchestra. There is no separate registration for Chamber Ensembles.
