The COA provides professional, comprehensive music education for students as early as 5 years old while enriching the arts in the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo metropolitan area. Students achieve their potential as thoughtful and informed musicians who effectively share their passion for music with others.
World-famous conductor Gustavo Dudamel once said that "it's not that people don't like classical music. It's that they don't have the chance to understand and to experience it."
Our purpose at the COA is to give students and audiences unforgettable experiences in classical music through exceptional performances that communicate meanings and emotions in the music itself. In believing that music transcends our world, taking us to new emotions, feelings, and meanings in our lives, we aim to travel this journey together with our students, audiences, and supporters.
